How to measure your belt:
Outer Circumference – LA is measured on the outside of the belt. In the case of longer belts, it is important to measure with an arc on the outside (with a tailor’s tape measure).
Working circumference – LW is measured in a straight line, after cutting, by stretching the tape measure along the belt (with a measuring tape).
Internal circumference – LI is measured inside the belt (with a special tape measure for belts).
You should also remember about the
Width of the belt, if the original belt is 13mm (1/2″) wide, you should not use a belt that is 10mm (3/8″) or 17mm (5/8″) wide.
