2. Fuel tank cap replaces OEM part numbers 799585, 799684, 798898. Please use the part number and description to see if the gas cap will fit on.
3. Please make sure your fuel tank has an internal thread with 1/4 lock tap, as well as a slot in the tank on the side for the tether, before code date 16100300. B&S engines have two or three caps for the same model but different year.
4. Adding the old O ring gasket or 1 1/2″ gasket or wide rubber band to the new gasket will make the gas cap tighter.
